The 2018 event will see improvements and additions made directly from the attendee comments.
After a highly successful inaugural event in July 2017, where 240 buyers and 120 exhibitors came together in an intensive one day exhibition with 100% international product, the team behind Get Global are ready to announce the improvements to the 2018 program.
As Get Global, Australia's only one-day MICE event dedicated exclusively to outbound product, prepares to launch its 2018 prospectus, the Co-Founders have confirmed leading tourism and travel communications agency, LCA Communications Group, will once again manage the public relations and communications activity for the trade event.
Led by global tourism expert, Lindy Andrews, the LCA team brings a wealth of knowledge and industry experience to Get Global. Having taken Australian luxury and experiential exhibition, Luxperience, to success in 2013 and 2014, Lindy is perfectly placed once again to drive the communications activities for Get Global.
Following the success of Australia's first, and only one-day MICE event dedicated exclusively to outbound product, Get Global, the Co-Founders are preparing to launch the 2018 prospectus to unprecedented interest from the MICE industry.

The inaugural GET Global outbound MICE tradeshow held at the ICC Sydney on 28 July has been hailed a triumph as 120 exhibitors showcased a diverse range of products, destinations and experiences from 20 countries to 240 buyers. Over the course of the one day event the 2200 sqm show floor was abuzz with conversations as 1320 connections were made between buyers and exhibitors.
GET Global's fresh new format was based on the organizers active involvement in the MICE industry combining their unique insights and personal experience with industry consultation to set Get Global apart from the traditional trade show model.
Co-founders Gary Bender and Donna Kessler said their goal for GET Global was to assist international companies and suppliers in achieving sales results while building outbound MICE travel opportunities.
They were delighted with the support and feedback received from the industry thanking their partners, the buyers and exhibitors for contributing to the success of the inaugural event.
In just over two weeks, the inaugural outbound MICE industry tradeshow, Get Global, begins at the International Convention Centre, Sydney. By just attending the event and visiting exhibitors, buyers will be in the running to win a plethora of luxury travel, stay and experience prizes.
Get Global has partnered with Touchpoint to assist with buyer registration, delegate management and prize entry system.

students from the International College of Management, Sydney (ICMS).
The Event Management students will gain first hand knowledge of working on the inaugural
outbound trade event at the International Convention Centre this July. They will assist with not
only on-ground operations during the event but also project planning, management, marketing
and execution. All ICMS degrees include an industry training component, so this industry
agreement is a great fit for both Get Global and ICMS.
